GAP

In the context of management-level decisions, a gap refers to the missing quantity of a particular element, for example a gap in the financing for a particular project represents the sum that must be made available to finance the project. In technical analysis a gap can be seen in the graph of a stock in the moment in which the difference between the price range quoted for one day is lower or higher and does not overlap with the price range quoted for the following day, therefore resulting in a gap in price wherein there have not been any trades at that particular value.
